I couldn't hear what he was saying after this - my smile was big and my mind was spinning. I was being guided through the building of the We Work-Dumbo Heights location - and I signed up right then and there.
This was only a couple of weeks ago. I was not prepared for this to happen at all, but I'm so happy with my decision! We Work is a great co-working company, situated in many locations here in New York City and in other parts of the world. They also have two locations in Amsterdam, so when I'm back 'home' I can work from there as well.
You see, I started another journey - this time it's not a world trip but a creative journey. I'm working on a dream I have for a long time - to make The Moksi Homes more visible and tangible, both online & offline... For now I can't share more about it - but believe me, I talked myself in & out of this project many times. Yet I keep coming back to it... This creative road is a bit lonely - since I'm the only one so far working on it. It's filled with fear and many self doubts...
But I'm blocking them out, because Believing is seeing, I have learned. So I started writing with more focus, researching and reading relevant materials, sorting out my notebooks, ploughing trough our many travel photo's and meeting new people online and offline. I'm committed to follow this journey - to see where it may lead me... Still, I feel like Alice, falling down the creative rabbit hole...
So having my own designated desk in New York City feels like a dream come true - a dream I didn't even know I had, until I got here. One dream hopefully leading towards another, right? Funny how life works sometimes...
